I don't know if ranting or looking for random shit to link to is harder, so maybe some of each. First up, I did not know that wine production was a big deal in Arizona, but apparently it is:

Secondly it seems a little odd that in the heart of coal country, natural gas would be more expensive than in most of the rest of the country:

I'll keep looking for odd little stories., hopefully I will get better at finding stuff to look at.
